Winona Conference Part 4 – Here’s the Truth of You in Christ

What if the ‘Christian life’ isn’t about what you do, but a divine reality you already possess? This message unveils a profound truth: the true Christian life is the eternal fellowship of the Godhead itself – the perfect communion between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Discover how Christ perfectly lived this divine life, not by human effort, but by beholding, loving, and receiving from the Father. This very life and fellowship now indwells every believer, making us an “interface” with access to the unseen, spiritual realm where all true reality resides. Understand how this simple, yet transformative truth empowers you to live in Christ’s reality, here and now, transcending all human limitations

Stand up! Are you going to make a liar out of me? Are you telling me? I have not talked…I’ve never asked these brothers. Can you touch that other realm? Can you touch that other realm? Praise the Lord. Can you, Mark? Can you enter that realm? Say it. Alright. That ought to spook you all out. Thank you, brother. And it’s really complex, isn’t it? Difficult. It takes years of being spiritual. Gotta read your Bible. Pray. Fast, no? It’s simple. Oh, brother, that’s unbelievable. Simple; child’s play. Is that what you said? Isn’t that incredible? I got three of the biggest liars in the world there, and I am a madman, or we have overlooked the simplest of things. Now, you Pentecostals, you have been throwing at us for over 200 years now. You and your mysterious speaking in tongues. Well, it’s time you had your tongue hanging out for a while. Praise the Lord. I’m having a lot of fun here because I don’t think I ever made this so clear before in my life. I really don’t. It’s clear to me. I don’t know how you’re seeing it.

I want to just look at this realm a little bit more. Would you open my Bible to Colossians 1? I’m going to tell you, this is before creation. Are you clear? And God is the All. And he is the only life there is. So, I’m going to put here – life. That’s a form of life, a species. At this time, it’s the only form of life and the only species there is, because He’s the All. Now I’m going to put eternal in front of that, and that simply means that’s the form of life He is; it’s not the longevity of it. That’s the form of life He lives by. He gets up in the morning, walks around, and goes to bed by eternal life. So must I learn this.

I used to have a 1941 Ford that had a bad habit of dying on me.  It would get me in precarious places, and it was a stick shift. And I would have to get that thing off the road; the motor wouldn’t work. I touched that button on the dashboard. There were buttons in those days. And the battery would go rrrrr and gradually pull me off the road. I have often thought about that ’41 Ford, and as that thing pulled me off the road, I think that is not the life that car was meant to run on. That was a modern-day Christian trying to live the Christian life. It is that powerful engine by which that car was intended to run. Well, here is the engine of your Christian life right here, and anything else is running on a battery that’s going dead.

Alright, there is only one light. This is true, real, and living light. This is all reality. What else is here? Well, I’m going to find out what’s there. I’m going to tell you what’s here. All that’s real is what’s here. There is a tree here. The only real tree there will ever be. All else is a shadow. I want to tell you something else incredible. There’s a Moon here. The only real Moon. You know what else? The Sabbath is here, the only real Sabbath. I’m going to tell you something else incredible, and that is, there’s a holiday in there, the only real holiday there is, and there’s real food there and real drink. And you and I came much, much later, and we got our vocabulary from that realm.

We got the names of all the things we do. Everything we’ve got here in this realm is a reflection of…Now, Linda, do you really believe there was a moon in there? Do you believe? Find that hard to believe, brother? I think…come on, somebody. We have one doubting soul in this room. You don’t believe the sabbath is in there? You don’t believe there is really a moon floating around in there? I want you to listen to Scripture. Colossus, 2:16. Don’t let anybody act as your judge…do you realize, this is banishing all legalism? That is the end of all legalism, right here. Don’t let anyone judge you in regard to food, drink, in respect to festivals, or a new moon; things which are a shadow of what is to come. But the reality is Christ.

Nice, rich tinkling glass of water. That’s not water. It’s a shadow of water. Really delicious food is only reminding you of what food is. That thing circulating around up there in the sky? Somebody says, “Isn’t that a beautiful moon?” Tell them, that’s not the moon.  He is your festival. He’s your only holiday. Saints, He’s your rest. And this is what’s going on here. Can you understand when Christ said to the woman at the well, The Father is now seeking those who will worship Him here, in reality, truth. Here’s where all real things are. Jews didn’t have any real things. That temple was, in fact, a relic, a replica, a miniature example of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our tabernacle and our temple. There (He) is the only reality.

Now let me tell you one other thing that’s there. I want you to see that because that’s important. That’s right, little chip. And I don’t know if we can’t live long enough to get all this said and done, but what I’m going to tell you now, you’ve got to realize, there’s no time involved here. Time is something you and I speak of. God doesn’t. This is not before, and this is not after, and this is not during. There’s no measurement of time here, but there’s no measurement of dimension; here are occasions where time and eternity intersect.

And this you and I cannot comprehend, but I’m going to tell you what this is. You tell me. I’ll let you tell me. What’s that? Come on, okay, do that again, Tim. I’ll take that. What’s that? Come on. That’s you…before creation. Oh, wait a minute, Gene. I wasn’t born yet; I was born right there in that little town. I was born in that green hospital. Dr. Doc Schmidt was my doctor. That may be true, but that’s your body. And your soul came out of your mother’s womb with a dead spirit, but my friend, the best part of you was marked off in God before the foundation of the world, and that is that part of Him that he put in you. That part of Him that He put in you.

And there was the day when you got saved when eternity and time intersected, and that which happened so long ago…and yet, you can’t say long ago, cause there’s no time there…His life was placed in you. A portion of God was put in you. It was just a little bitty portion. Really tiny bit. And sister Margaret, I have to tell you a sad thing. He gave you such a tiny portion that it was hardly worth the effort. I got a lot of Him, but you got a teeny weeny weeny weeny bit. And Linda, honey, you’re joking. Almost none!

You see the problem here? The Spirit cannot be measured. I know that some of you would really bow and declare that you got the least part of God available, the irreducible minimum. But this wonderful, wonderful John chapter 3 says, He gives His Spirit without measure. Do you know why He can do that? Because there’s no dimension to His Spirit. Here is the great incredibleness of God. That all of God is in every part of God. That’s right. Absolutely. Absolutely. I tell you, I remember the day I was sitting in a meeting when someone finally got this through my thick head. And I thought I was going to explode. Not explode in the revelation; that was enough. But I thought I was going to explode it to the very realization of what was in me. The very God is in me. The very expansiveness of an unlimited God is in me.

But Gene, you’re so tiny, how is that possible? Because this doesn’t have any measure. God came into you. He brought all of Himself, all of His Son, all of His Spirit, and all of His all. He brought His whole realm of Himself into you and then gave you access to that realm.  Now say praise the Lord.

I have to end this meeting somewhere; I really don’t want to. I would like to pursue this further. I really hate to wait until tomorrow morning to go any further. But listen…by the way, when I get to Atlanta, I have been speaking on this subject for three years or four. The only thing I ever speak in once a year, I always speak on the life of Jesus Christ as He lived it here on earth in relationship to an indwelling Father, and it is incredible when you begin to look at the Lord’s life, not for what He did, not what He said, what He taught, His miracles, but you look for an indwelling God. It’s incredible what you discover. And you realize it’s the main theme of the four gospels. It was the thing that arrested everyone: His eternal fellowship with the Father.
