Winona Conference Part 4 – Here’s the Truth of You in Christ

What if the ‘Christian life’ isn’t about what you do, but a divine reality you already possess? This message unveils a profound truth: the true Christian life is the eternal fellowship of the Godhead itself – the perfect communion between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Discover how Christ perfectly lived this divine life, not by human effort, but by beholding, loving, and receiving from the Father. This very life and fellowship now indwells every believer, making us an “interface” with access to the unseen, spiritual realm where all true reality resides. Understand how this simple, yet transformative truth empowers you to live in Christ’s reality, here and now, transcending all human limitations

Well, I’m going to pause here for just a moment before I go to that blackboard. I’m enjoying this, and I enjoy your enjoying it, and I love your faces. Do you have any questions? Yes, brother, He placed what? What does it say? Hey brother, wait a minute. Pray tell, what is the word? Hey, let’s not be 20th-century Christians here. 20th-century Christians go to the New Testament, and they take the W, that which says W O R D, and they always make that the Bible. Excuse me, but that is God expressing Himself. In the beginning was the Word.  Be careful about 20th-century interpretations of things.

Do you have any questions? Any more? Yes, then Danny, if you are living within the confines of the community of Christ, somebody is going to sit on your head, and that’s why we really need the body of Christ. We really do. Some of us get a little this way. When I first moved to Portland, a brother had been told…this is not one of my brothers…this is not one of my breeds. He had just joined the group; he was an ex-Jehovah’s Witness. He was really messed up. And God had spoken to him and given him a day the Lord was going to return.

I didn’t even bother telling the brothers to say anything to him because it was just a few days off. Why bother? And you know, he almost went into a tailspin, almost lost his faith because God had spoken to him. Well, if he had been somebody I had known for a while and he had come up and told me that, well, we’ll sit on his head, that’s what we would have done. And there is so much safety in the body of Christ, in this business of an indwelling Lord. That never gets said.  You hear anybody speaking about an indwelling Lord, and they’ll say, Oh, be careful. Be careful. Oh, people are going to do strange things. Oh, don’t pay any attention to the indwelling Lord. You can’t trust your feelings. That’s not my feelings. It’s not my emotions. It’s my Lord. Okay, so I’m a little crazy. Okay, fine, I’m a little crazy, but I have the church surrounds me, and the church is not crazy.

Yes, brother, that’s right. He was speaking of himself, oh brother, I tell you, the little conversation between the Lord and the Samaritan woman is so rich, it’s almost infinite.  It is so rich. Yes, you will have a river of water pouring up out of you. And I guess that’s a good place to go here.

Will you come with me to God the All? Now, I’m going to change this a little bit. You cannot make a circle, God the All, because the circle is limited; therefore, I’m going to do this. You understand my little arrows here? That means there is no line here. I’m going to put the sign for infinity here, so you will know that it goes on forever.  God the All, and there is the Christian life, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. All reality is there. Nothing else is real. The Christian life is there. The fellowship of God is there. What you missed the other night when I spoke to you about the bride, but you really didn’t hear me say, and I said it again and again and again. What’d I say to you? Can you help me? You. You remember what we talked about that whole evening? Something is burning in my bones here. What? God, the Lord, was looking for His counterpart. Okay, I said that. I said some other things. What? Hidden inside of him. I see you’re missing it. We are one with Him. We are of the same nature. What else? I’m going to do it for you. Will you watch me? I’ll cheat. What about two realms? They overlap? See, you still missed it. Yeah. What? There’s an interface. Half-breeds, Hybrids. You still don’t know.

Right now, here today, you have…you’re a half breed. You belong to both realms. Right here, right now, you’ve got the right to be there. Yes? You have access to that place. And you don’t believe that. Well, Gene, I’m sure in positional truth, I have the right to be there. Take positional truth out and hang it. I don’t believe in positional truth; I believe in experiential truth.

I’m going to open to you a passage of scripture. It is Ephesians 1:3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bless us…Did I misread that? Oh, I’m so sorry. Let me do that again. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Christ, who will one day… Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Christ, who has, does that mean past tense, has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing that is in the other realm, that’s in Christ? I’m going to re-read that; there must be something wrong here.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ.  Hmm, just as He has…and that word is not chosen, and it is not predestined…the word is marked us off, in Him, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love, He marked us off. Alright? I’m going to re-read it. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ.

I tried to tell you something last night; I’m going to try to tell you again. You are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. He lived in two realms, and He has passed that on to you and to me. And what I’d like for you to grasp right now is that Jesus Christ lived in that realm as the eternal Son long before He ever came to earth, and all reality was there. Now, hear this. His vocabulary came from there. When He talked of water, He meant real water. When He talked of life, He meant this(real) life. When He talked of light, He talked of this light. When He talked to His mother about wine, He was talking about this wine. And when He talked, and He did so often, drawing vocabulary out of his past experience.

Have you ever listened to a Texan talk? It’s full of His surroundings. That dog won’t hunt. That man is all boot and no horse. You can’t run fast enough to pour that on me. That’s just the vocabulary of an East Texan. It just stays with us our whole lives.  We think, act, and talk that way. The Lord Jesus Christ came into this realm with a vocabulary based on experience. Now, He said, and His disciples said, Live in spirit. Walk in spirit. Did He not say that? Do you think He meant go, woo woo woo woo? He said to that Samaritan woman, You Samaritans say the top of that mountain, the Jews say that city, and then He just parenthetically said, The Jews are right, but He said the hour has come and now is, when God is seeking those who will worship Him… there…where God is all. There. Where all reality lies. God is now seeking those who will worship Him in the other…the spiritual realm, in spirit and in reality, in the only truth.

No more buildings, no more symbols of reality in Jerusalem. No more rituals that are symbols of reality. The temples are over. Samaria never had it, and now God is seeking those who can go through that portal into the other realm.

He lived in two realms. He sat down at that table, at that place. He was hot, tired, and thirsty. There is no record that He got any water. Is there? No record that He got any food, but He was sitting there, fellowshipping with His Father, where the real water is, and where all the real food is. And then He said, I have had food you don’t know about, and I have drunk water that you have never seen, heard, or known about. He lived in the other realm. He had drunk in the other realm, and He had feasted in the other realm.
