The Most Beautiful Girl in the World Part 4

Even the crazies don’t have to be crazy. And I’ve never seen a church but that it had one or two crazies in it, but there is no excuse for the body of Christ not functioning. In fact, there’s no excuse for having people like me around a whole lot. George, I’m going to ask you to excuse me here for a minute. I got a note here, and I really appreciated the note from the sister who wrote it. She said, Gene, one of the reasons some of the brothers and sisters are having problems with what you’re saying is that they didn’t get any introductions. Why don’t you take a minute and explain something to them? And I’m going to do that for just a minute because it has a lot to do with what you’re going to do when you get up early in the morning and meet the Lord to answer your question. I’ve never tried to do this in a short length of time; I usually take two months to do it.

There was a time when God was All, and that means there was nothing else out there, not even nothing, for there was no space for nothing. He was All. Now, according to Colossians, you have to see where creation took place and where the eternals are. The eternals are in Christ. Creation is inside of Him. We always think of our God as a God who is in creation, maybe He’s out on some planet or big cloud, but the entire realm of all galaxies and all that is matter – matter creates space and time – remove the matter, there is no such thing as space-time, there is only eternity. All that is mass, all that is matter, is inside of Him, and you see these pictures of these galaxies so far away, and they talk about millions of light-years and billions of light-years, you have to know that that’s all inside of him. And that’s just the physical creation.

Now, the spiritual creation which we cannot see, because it has no mass in it, it has no time in it, and it has no space in it, that’s the other realm: the heavenlies. Even the heavenlies are in Him. Now, I’m going to lay aside the heavenlies for a moment only to say this: that your spirit is not native to the mass realm, to the space-time realm. Your spirit is native to the non-mass realm, where there is no space, no time, and no dimension. There’s nothing big, and there’s nothing small; it has no dimension. That’s where your spirit came from, and your spirit has the right to walk the galaxies and the heavenlies and God, you have that right, you might as well take it, and I’m going to decloak the mystic Gene Edwards, I will decloak here.

Now let’s lay aside eternity and the eternals and the heavenlies, and by the way, I do not know that there is a place in the New Testament that is called heaven; it is always, I believe, and I’m willing to be standing corrected, it is always the heavenlies and the heavenly places. We do great injustice to the Christian faith when we speak of heaven. There is another realm. It is the heavenly places. Laying that aside, I would like for you to see space-time, and let’s put it in a linear situation. It begins here and ends here. Now then, can you see this beginning and end, and all that takes place in it, from the time of “Let there be light” until the time when God destroys all he created? And he does that. If you don’t know that, that’s in the scripture. This realm will dissolve. Space-time – this creation – is doomed. It has already been crucified.

I would like you to see God for just a moment, to see space-time in Him, all of creation in Him, and you in Him. Now, your problem is that you think that God is tied to September 17th, 1994, and that he has never been in 1995. And that he is not presently in 2000 BC. You are in error. For at this very moment, He is in 2000 BC, that’s where he is. He is also in 3000 BC, that’s where he is. Your Lord is right now at creation; that’s where He is. Your Lord is in 1995, that’s where He is. In fact, He is as much in 1995 as He is in 1994; in fact, He is always in 1995, and He is at and presently in His return. That’s where He is right now, and He is also at Omega, and that’s where He is. He is at the dissolution of creation, that’s where He is. Gene, that’s not possible. No, that’s not possible for you; remember that creation is in Him, and He doesn’t have a front or a back. If this is creation here, the beginning, and there is the creation, and it is in him, and this is Him, and there it is, you tell me where He is, yeah, tell me where He is not, there is no place where He is not.

Now, Gene, this is just not possible. Oh, listen, you just go back and look for it in the New Testament, and He is always talking to you about where He is with the Father in the past, and where He is. He said…listen to Him, “The Son of Man who is in the heavenlies.” He was not only on the earth, in the eternals, He was God. All things were created in Christ. Yeah, but you see, even the angels were wrong, because they are tied to the eternals, and they cannot escape even the eternals. Right now, I’m telling you where He is. You know where He is? He’s before creation, and He is choosing you. I’m going to tell you why He chose you before creation. It is because He is also at the end of creation, and He’s standing at the end of creation, and here you are a believer. You emerge intact, still loving Him, believing Him, and following Him, and He says, “Oh, you made it, you made it, therefore I will put you in the Book of Life and choose you before creation.

You say that’s not possible. That’s because you’re not God. What’s the point, Gene? The point is that I have a right to join Him. I have a spirit that does not have to remain on this planet. My body may have to, but not my spirit…I can go with him to the day that He created, that He chose me before creation, and I can stand there and watch Him. I’ll tell you something else I can do, and you will not understand this. I can go to places where I’m not there, and I can watch, and I can listen to the Father fellowship with the Son and the Son fellowship with the Father. If you have read The Secret to the Christian Life, I gave the illustration that if we have a God who is always where He is, then Psalm 23 is not a record of David’s experience; it’s David touching the experience of the eternal Son.

I can watch while the Father speaks to the Son and says, Son…now listen, this changes everything. Listen very carefully, this changes everything. Get out of your Aristotelian mind for just a minute. Son, you will be incarnated. I’m going to create a universe, and you will visit it, and you will die in it. Now listen to who’s the shepherd, and this is true because all things flow from the Father; He is always the one from which all things flow. Son, I am your shepherd; you shall not want. You will rest in Me. I will give you a place always to rest, and I will give you water to drink. I am the rest, and I am the water. You will pass through a valley, and death will cast its shadow on you. Don’t be afraid. I’m with you.

The Son is about to be incarnated, and He’s going to become a human being, something He’s never been before, and someone said that’s like a man becoming a cockroach for God to become a man amidst fallen men. Father…now this is not David, and this is not me, and all things, all the arrows are pointing away from me, thank God, and they’re pointing toward Christ, and I’m not sitting there saying, arrows…watch the arrows…Lord, you’re my shepherd; I shall not want. That’s really a sad place to always live, but to step into the Eternals and listen to the Son say, Father, I’m about to go into the realms where there is dimension and live among fallen men, and I will be encased in the likeness of human flesh.

There’s no prayer here. Father, you’re my shepherd, I’m not afraid. And I will pass through death. She’ll be with me. Father, I’m so grateful for your rod, so grateful for your staff. And Father, while I’m on earth, I’m going to drink you. Every day I’ll drink you. And every day I will rest in you, and my enemy is going to watch the abundance of my life as I eat and drink of you, Father. And while I am there as it has been in the heavens, I will dwell in you forever and forever. I’ve got a right because I have a spirit to take wings from planet Earth and dimensions and go and stand in that place, and watch that fellowship. That is one small point of all the riches of Christ in spiritual places, in heavenly places, all the spiritual blessings of heavenly places that are yours.

Now we’ve got a realm out there to explore and a realm out there to live in, and then come back and tell about it in the midst of the brothers and the sisters, and Christ grow richly, flow richly among us. I’m going to ask you…anybody want to ask a question? That was really a condensation of about 25 years’ worth of ministry. Yes brother.
