Life of Christ 1985 – Part 13 – Worker Fear Not

You cannot fall one minute previous to the Father’s will; you are indestructible until He allows it. The deepest anxiety facing any follower of Christ is the fear of death and social rejection—but the comfort offered by Gene Edwards is absolute sovereignty. Gene Edwards dives into the intense instructions Christ gave His disciples before sending them out as “sheep in the midst of wolves”. He reveals that the Father is quite accustomed to having His divine work “called the work of Satan”, and because the disciple is not above the Master, we must expect the same persecution. This message calls for uncompromising boldness and loyalty, urging us not to “water down” the truth for acceptance. Ultimately, when the pressure mounts, we are to fear only Him who can destroy the soul, trusting that we will not fall until the Father Himself carries us to the ground.
