Christian, This Is Your Lord | The Christ Who Chose You Before Creation

Before there was time, before angels, before creation—Christ was. In this message, Gene Edwards takes us into the mystery of eternity past, where the Father, Son, and Spirit dwelled in perfect love and fellowship. It was there, before the foundation of the world, that you were chosen, portions of Christ marked off, named, and destined to be His. This is not just theology; it is the breathtaking reality of who you are in Him. Listen with a quiet heart and let the Spirit draw you into the eternal purposes of God. This is a message to receive slowly, deeply, and reverently.

The main point and the incomparable point, and the point that is unbelievable, and the point you’ve got to spend the rest of your life understanding and touching, in this unbelievable thought, this unbelievable thought, that this glorious wonderful, glorious Lord so incomparable so beautiful and so glorious so, all this Christ, this One, lives in you.

And it was God’s will to make known what is the riches of the glory of the mystery. Everything I told you is that mystery to make known to you heathen that this Christ, this Christ, this Christ dwells in you.

Now, get to know Him. How do I do that, Gene? Go get in the church on this earth, and what is needed and upon what is the church built? The church is built on a revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, and may you turn in full face toward Him and say, “Oh Lord, give me that revelation.” And brothers, if you don’t have that revelation, you church planters of the house church here, you go back home because you don’t have anything.

And brothers and sisters, without a revelation of the Lord, you don’t have church life either. Brothers and sisters, I rest my case, and my case is the Lord Jesus Christ. Sisters, be patient with us. Lord, please be patient with us. Please be patient with us, and someday we’ll be like You, and then together we’ll be like Him. And together we’ll be one with Him. I want you to never forget that this Christ is right now alive, dynamically alive, living in you, setting up lines of communication to love you, for you are His glorious inheritance. Praise the Lord.

Now, what on earth are we going to do to end this meeting? I’m not going to ask you to bow your head; I’m just going to ask you to take a minute to just say something to the Lord. I don’t care what it is, just take a minute to say something. There ought to be something we say to Him.
