The Ephesians Story (Part 7) – The Resurrection Power of Christ in You

This powerful teaching from Gene Edwards explores the believer’s union with Jesus Christ through His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and exaltation. Drawing deeply from the themes of Ephesians and the eternal purpose of God, this message reveals what it truly means to be “in Christ.”

Gene describes the cosmic victory of Jesus over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. Through vivid imagery and spiritual insight, he explains how the resurrection of Christ was not merely a historical event, but an eternal reality that includes every believer. The message emphasizes that Christians have already risen with Christ, ascended with Him, and are spiritually seated with Him in heavenly places.

This teaching focuses on resurrection life, the believer’s identity in Christ, and the finished work of the cross. It highlights the profound truth that death has already been defeated through Jesus Christ and that the people of God now share in His victory, authority, and eternal life.

The message also explores themes from Ephesians concerning spiritual warfare, heavenly realms, the throne of God, and the eternal nature of redemption. Gene communicates these truths with passionate storytelling and a deeply Christ-centered perspective that encourages believers to see themselves from God’s eternal viewpoint rather than earthly circumstances.

Viewers searching for teachings on resurrection power, identity in Christ, spiritual victory, heavenly places, union with Christ, and the believer’s position in Jesus will find this message deeply encouraging and spiritually transformative.

And out of the midst of the glory and the purity and the holiness of the shimmering light comes a cry. “It’s me, the Bedouin, I’m coming to meet the Lord.” And the angels go wild, and the cherubim go berserk; in terror, they flee and disappear into the throne. The sword stops and lifts, and the door rips open, revealing a gaping hole in the heavens. They are not asking the question, “Is he worthy to come in?” They are asking, “Are we worthy to share glory with such a one?” And he enters the streets of glory. Angels go mad in praise, that such a thing, so holy and so beautiful and so pure, could come into their midst and they could have fellowship with one like this, where he died with Christ, and he rose from the dead with Christ, and he ascended and took his place in the heavenly realm. That is, what it means to be a holy one marked off in Christ before the foundation of the ages. And he, the least deserving of all the holy ones who have ever been, is an example to you of who you are and what you are and where you are and where you are right now. Hallelujah. Praise His name. Now, try to live over this. Try to get over this; you can’t. You’re now incurable. You are understanding your Lord and who you are in Him.
