Debrecen Messages #7 – Days 4,5,6 of Creation and The New Man in Genesis

I want to begin by reminding you that on the day of creation, the very moment that the Lord began, there closed the knowledge of what took place before creation. No one who was created knew there was a Christ. No one knew there was a Son of God. No one knew there was an eternal purpose. No one knew there was a book of life.

No one knew that there was a cross and a lamb slain already. No one knew that this creation had already been done away with and that Christ had finished all things before he began all things. No one knew that he stood at the beginning, at the end, at the same time he stood at the beginning. No one knew that he enveloped creation already. No one knew that creation was inside of him when it exploded and came forth. No one knew that he and the Father had chosen certain ones before the foundation of the earth and had done it, had chosen them and marked them off in the eternal Son before creation. And suddenly all these things, all these knowledges disappeared and became mysteries.

Now, when I say a mystery, you know, you may not know something, but you may know something about something that you don’t know. I’ll repeat that. A mystery. Have you ever gotten a telephone call and wondered where they got your phone number?

Have you ever gotten a letter and wondered how in the world they found you? That’s a mystery. But you know a little bit.

As the story unfolds, there were those who began to understand that there was something going on they didn’t understand. It’s kind of like our knowledge of creation. The more we learn, the less we know. Science says that every time they discover something, it opens up at least a dozen mysteries. Well, this is not all.

We also must keep in mind that Genesis 1 and 2 are incredibly important. Because, Timothy, why? Genesis 1 and 2 are incredibly important. Because. All right, I’ll move over to Kalia. There is no sin and there is no fall. Tim goes over to the corner and puts on a dunce cap. I know I didn’t give you a chance, but next time, you’ll be very quick. Kalia. Kalia cheated. Oh, wow. All right. Yes, indeed. There’s no fall. There’s no sin. There’s no damage. Not to man. Not to this planet. The Lord said it is good. Or when he finished, he said it is very good.

I don’t subscribe to this weird, strange teaching that there is a fall recorded in Genesis 1:1. I don’t even want you to know about that. That’s a very strange teaching. He saw that it was good. He saw it was very good. The light was good. The darkness was good. Everything was good. And even very good. In fact, there was only one thing in creation that was not good. And that is that everybody had a mate except poor old Adam. And the Lord cured that. But even in this is a message for all of us to know. It is not good for God to be alone. We are in his image. When we love, boy, all we’re doing is admitting how passionate our God is. And he’s very passionate. He’s more passionate than we are.

Well, we have to understand Genesis 1 and 2. We have to keep coming back to it. For there is so much that is proper there. So much is good. So much is hidden. And as I have told you, Genesis 1 and 2 tell you His purpose. It’s there. You have to look for it because it’s a mystery. Hidden. However, as you take all the scripture, then you can come back to Genesis 1 and 2 and know. As you come to an understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ, you come back to Genesis 1 and 2. As the mystery itself unfolds, Genesis 1 and 2 unfolds. Even Christ teaches us Genesis 1 and 2.

One last thing about this, and that is that There’s a line. You are taking the tree of life and you’re seeing a line that stretches all the way from Genesis to Revelation. By the way, in the last message, where was I? They’re listening to tapes, those of you who are watching on video. Do you remember, anybody remember the last message? I know how that… Yeah, yesterday’s audio. Yesterday afternoon, Cain and Abel. You mean I’m still in the book of Genesis there? Gee, I thought I’d gotten over to the tabernacle and to Solomon and to the… You’ve been in the tabernacle once. So I’ve jumped ahead and then I jump back. Sounds just like me… I think you alluded to it and you’re going to go into it. I was terribly young when I did those things. You did the whole thing on the cherubim before. You were on the tabernacle and Ezekiel. And then I come back to… Oh, what a lousy speaker. How old was I? I was just a kid, wasn’t I? Yeah, 43. That sounds right. I was just a child.

All right. Now then, where did we leave off in Genesis 1? I believe we stopped with verse… What? We stopped with verse… Did we get as far as 12? Okay. All right. We’re good. Okay. This was the day of resurrection. In Genesis 1:14, we get another let there be light. And this is a second light. I told you that in the creation, even as scientists recall, they tell us that the first thing about the Big Bang, the moment of creation, this one great characteristic was incredible light, came up from the blowout. And now we have another light. And these lights give us seasons, days, years, and even signs in the sky. We get permission to have signs in the heavens. So if you ever see a comet coming by, you might want to say, hmm, I wonder what God is doing. Just, I don’t want to get off the subject here, but let me tell you something really amazing. I was laying in bed one morning at 6 a.m. I just waked up. I think I just said something to my wife. We were in California, and we had an earthquake. It was a big one. A lot of people were killed. That night I stood in my yard and watched the moon turn blood red.

It was a sign in the sky. Now don’t ask me to interpret the sign. You know what had happened. Mars had lined up with something that had lined up with something and the reflection of the iron dust on Mars was being reflected onto the moon in an eclipse between the Earth and the sun. Strange, rare occurrence, and it took place over California, and it probably caused the earthquake because there was a lot of gravity pull at that time, and the earth just moved a little bit. I don’t know anything about what I’m talking about. I have no idea what I’m telling you, but whenever I hear about a sign in the sky, I stop and say, hmm, because it says right here there’s signs. And the Lord has never given me the gift of understanding them. But seasons and years we understand. And in the new creation, these things pass away. Everything is day.
